Controller Setup

The Zwift Ride controller is detected automatically during Bluetooth scanning. It supports both old and new firmware versions:

  • New firmware — Service UUID FC82
  • Old firmware — Service UUID 00000001-19CA-4651-86E5-FA29DCDD09D1

The app performs a “RideOn” handshake automatically upon connection. No manual pairing or configuration is needed.

Tips

  • Make sure the controller is powered on before opening Cyrace
  • Only one app can connect to the controller at a time — close Zwift or other apps first
  • If the controller disconnects unexpectedly, power-cycle it (turn off, wait a few seconds, turn back on)
  • The controller is optional — all features work with on-screen controls when no controller is connected
